I never want to forget that part of the reason for attending our local ballets is in order to support the dancers. So few that start out on the road to a professional career actually make it onto the stage with a real company. No matter how the dancing or performance unfolds, we should buy tickets, clap, and enjoy the truly good parts. I still cannot believe we left. We'd never done this before and I doubt that it will ever happen again. Having seen Where the Wild Things Are several years ago when Columbia City Ballet first did the piece, I remember it as lots of fun. The costumes were amazing and the energy had been high.Susan Lenzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13828597703914908801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32540525.post-22830607943498427772007-02-06T09:28:00.000-05:002007-02-06T09:28:00.000-05:00I am so sorry that you left the ballet at intermis...I am so sorry that you left the ballet at intermission. You missed a delightful second half. Where the Wild Things Are was truly an enjoyable experience. The sets, the lighting and the amazing dancing was a joy to behold. I wish you had stayed.....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
