Blues Chapel in Pickens
Last night was the opening of Blues Chapel at the Pickens County Museum of Art and History. It was wonderful. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Ellen Kochansky even came. I'd never met this incredible fiber artist....but I sure knew her name! She liked my installation too. I'm totally honored.
Congratulations on a great show. I can't begin to imagine the amount of work you've put into it. Worth every second. I loved the video and I'll be humming "Down & Out" for the rest of the day!
Susan...congratulations on your opening! It is so beautiful...a true place of honor. I'm sure there is a holy feeling to the exhibition, it certainly comes through on the video too. Beautiful...and Happy Birthday! Love...Your YOUNGER sister!! ha ha

I haven't visited your blog for some time. I was very interested in the Blues Chapel and thought about it off because I wasso impressed with the idea. The the actual production of the Blues Chapel is outstanding A fabulous statement and a gorgeous exhibit. I look forward to seeing the Decisions project.
